More Doctors Need Training in Geriatric Care
(Source: Channel NewsAsia) - Age-related illnesses, such as Alzheimer's disease, are expected to increase considerably as Singapore's population ages. Doctors Fatimah Lateef and Lam Pin Min have issued a "Call to Arms"for their country in hopes of encouraging young doctors to take up geriatric care specialities and persuading the Singapore government to allocate more funds to this effort.
